What is CRUPS?
The dance program does not receive any financial support from Grissom High School, the City Board of Education, or the State Board of Education. We must raise funds in order to continue to offer quality dance opportunities for our students. In order to continue this program, we ask that each family contribute $150.00 for a Beginning GHS dancer, $200.00 for an Intermediate GHS dancer, $325.00 for a Co. 2 member and $350.00 for an Images member. The Costume Rental Upkeep and Program Support (CRUPS) fees provide the following for each dancer:

  • All costume pieces - for all performances
  • Two fully produced dance productions
  • Grissom Dance T-shirt
  • Headshot for lobby display
  • Awards Ceremony
  • Reception for end of the year awards
  • Keith Cross guest artist’s residency
  • Printed tickets and programs for performances
  • Production costs and general costs related to running the dance program
  • Membership in The Grissom Dance Parents Association


Students will be responsible for their own tights, shoes and hair accessories. (Both will be provided at a discount) This is a health code ordinance. We realize how busy the beginning of school can be - for your convenience we have broken up the fee into two installments.

  • The first payment is due by Friday, August 28th
  • The second payment is due by Wednesday, September 23rd

ALL CRUPS MUST BE PAID FOR PERFORMANCE ELIGIBILITY.

PLEASE NOTE:
Any payment for DVD’s, jackets, guest artist or travel opportunities will not be accepted until all CRUPS are paid in full.
